In Learn, Grow, Succeed! educator Brandy Thompson has created a journal with prompts and quotes to encourage a growth mindset in children. Those with a growth mindset consider mistakes and failures as opportunities to learn rather than as moments for self-blame. They persevere in the face of difficulties and are more cooperative rather than competitive with fellow learners. Though created for children ages seven to ten, the journal prompts can be adapted for other age groups. Even adults can benefit from pondering the prompts.
